These terms govern your use of lifeastree.com ("we", "us"). By using the site or purchasing a report, you agree to them.

1. The service

Life as Tree provides self-assessment questionnaires and generates personalized digital reports for personal growth and self-reflection. Reports are generated from the answers you provide and delivered instantly on this site.

2. Purchases and delivery

• Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, which handles checkout, taxes, and receipts under its own terms.
• Your report is digital content, generated and made accessible immediately after successful payment. By purchasing, you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that, where permitted by applicable law, rights of withdrawal may no longer apply once generation or access has begun. See our Refund Policy.

3. Nature and limits of the service

• Reports are a self-reflection tool. They describe tendencies based on your own answers. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, career, financial, or legal advice; not a diagnosis; and not a hiring, admission, or credit assessment.
• You must not use reports to make decisions about other people (employment, lending, housing, or similar).
• Reports depend on the honesty and completeness of your answers; we do not warrant that any description fits you.

4. Your report license

Your report is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may save, print, and share it privately. You may not resell it, republish it commercially, or use our content to build a competing service.

5. Accounts and report access

Reports are accessible via a private link and, optionally, via email verification. You are responsible for keeping your report link and email account secure. We may close access to a report where the underlying order is refunded or charged back (see Refund Policy).

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to probe, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or to access reports or data that are not yours.

7. Intellectual property

The site, assessment, scoring methodology, report templates, and brand are our property or licensed to us. Purchasing a report transfers no ownership of any of these.

8. Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or your non-waivable statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes, termination, and law

We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be posted with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of establishment, without limiting mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Questions: support@lifeastree.com.
